
Edwards Signs Contract with Toronto FC II

TORONTO, ONTARIO – Senior Nate Edwards has signed a contract with Toronto FC II of the Major League Soccer (MLS) Next Pro League.
Edwards, who played wing-back for Syracuse, was one of four players to start in all 21 matches. The senior scored one goal and recorded four assists, totaling career-highs in assists and points in 2023. The Brampton, Ontario, native appeared in 1,602 minutes on the pitch and 60-or-more minutes in 19 matches.
Edwards was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Men's Soccer Academic All-District Team and the All-ACC Academic Team for his accomplishments in the classroom.
Before joining the Orange, the Canadian played three seasons at Purdue Fort Wayne. Edwards appeared in 40 matches, making 39 starts, tallying two goals and one assists with the Mastodons.
