Camp Notebook - Week 2

The Syracuse football season continues to inch closer, with less than two weeks remaining from the season opener.
Season tickets - which remain the best value for fans - are on sale now at Cuse.com/Tickets. Syracuse Athletics also announced some new initiatives this week, including theme days that provide great opportunities for groups to attend, and Operation Pack the Dome, with discounted tickets available for the opener vs. Ohio. Plus, a remider that the 'Cuse App is a must have for an upgraded fan experience in the JMA Dome this fall.
On the field, Head Coach Fran Brown continues to develop the Orange this training camp. For what you might have missed this week, check out some of the highlights:
Monday, Aug. 12
It was a big day on the big screen for the Syracuse football program. All-Access with Syracuse Football, an embedded documentary of training camp, premiered on ACC Network. ACC Road Show was also in town for an hour-long preview show on the Orange. Both shows are availalable on demand through the ESPN app. Episode two of All-Access will be on ACCN at 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 19, with the final episode coming the same timeslot a week later.
Head Coach Fran Brown, co-Defensive Coordinator/Linebackers Coach Robert Wright and defensive players were also available to the media after practice:

Wednesday, Aug. 14
Practice was closed to the media on Wednesday, but Marlowe Wax earned another Watch List spot. The senior linebacker is now on the Lott IMPACT Trophy, Bednarik and Butkus preseason watch lists, as well as a Preseason All-ACC selection.
Thursday, Aug. 15

Friday, Aug. 16
The Orange held its final practice of the week ahead of Saturday's scrimmage. It was closed to the media.
The team also hosted Hall of Fame Head Coach Jim Tressel, who was the quarterbacks coach at Syracuse in 1981-82, before going on to successful head coaching stints at Youngstown State and Ohio State. He spoke to the team at the evening team meeting.
Saturday, Aug. 17
'Cuse was in the Dome for the first time this fall, scrimmaging for the second time and doing so in front of some alumni and player families.
Sunday, Aug. 18
Off day.
