Syracuse Status
The Orange are off to the program's best start since 2017 when Syracuse also began the campaign with a 2-0-1 mark. The squad is coming off a 2-0 triumph against Siena on Thursday night. Redshirt junior Ashley Rauch tallied her second goal of the season while classmate Erin Flurey found the back of the net for the first time in 2024.

Senior Blythe Braun made her first Syracuse start in goal and responded with a complete-game shutout. Braun, who transferred to Syracuse from Florida Atlantic, made three stops in the victory. Mercyhurst has lost to Duquesne (6-2) and Niagara (2-0).

Mercyhurst Status
The Lakers begin the season with seven straight road matches. Freshmen midfielders Rosie Bandura and Annaliese Black have each scored a goal this season. Senior Kae Constantini (6.11 goals against avg., .611 save %) has started both matches for Mercyhurst.
