Allen Named to Doak Walker Watch List

Running back LeQuint Allen is represented on the Doak Walker Award Watch List, which honors the nation's top running back.
Allen was a Second Team All-ACC performer at running back last season. He enters his third season at 'Cuse with 1,338 career rushing yards and 10 touchdowns. He also has 55 collegiate receptions for 330 yards and a pair of scores. He enters the season 37th in school history in rushing yards.
He also led the team in receptions last season with 38.
Already on the Maxwell Award Watch List, which honors the nation's top player, Allen is one of many Orange stars earning preseason plaudits. QB Kyle McCord was named to the Maxwell and Walter Camp Award Watch Lists, Trebor Pena earned Hornung Award recognition and Marlowe Wax is on the Lott IMPACT Trophy Watch List. Wax and tight end Oronde Gadsden were named to the Preseason All-ACC team earlier this month as well.
