Ice Hockey Series at Duluth Postponed

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – This weekend's season opening series between Syracuse University ice hockey and No. 7 Minnesota Duluth, slated for Saturday and Sunday at Amsoil Arena, has been postponed. Effects from Hurricane Helene complicated travel between Syracuse, New York and Duluth, Minnesota.
The series will be made up on Thursday, Jan. 2 (2 p.m.) and Friday, Jan. 3 (3 p.m.). Tickets for the previously scheduled September 28th game will be valid for January 2nd and tickets for the September 29th game will be valid for January 3rd. Syracuse will now officially open the 2024-25 season on Friday, Oct. 4 with a 5:30 p.m. game against Stonehill. The second game of that series is set for a 3 p.m. start on Saturday, Oct. 5. Both games will be played at Tennity Ice Pavilion.
