McCord Continues Torrid Pace

Kyle McCord continued to light up the scoreboard in Saturday's game against Holy Cross. The senior standout has risen up the Orange record books in just for games on campus.
He threw for 385 yards and another four touchdowns in Saturday's game and currently leads the nation in completions per game (28.5), and yards per game (364.8). McCord is fourth in passing touchdowns (14) and total offense (360.8).
In historical context, no player in the history of Syracuse football has opened their season (or Orange career in his case) with this type of output. He's the only player in program history to throw for 300+ yards in four-straight games, much less the first four of their 'Cuse career.
McCord's 14 touchdown passes already ranks in the top-15 in a single-season in program history. He's now just two touchdown passes from breaking into the top-15 on the program's career touchdown passes list.
Having already thrown for nearly 1,500 yards, he's on pace to shatter the program's single-season record of 3,749 yards. In fact, his current pace puts him two games away from jumping into the top-15 of the single-season category as well by the midway point of the regular season.
With only three home games left to catch McCord live in action, fans should visit Cuse.com/Tickets today to secure their seats for the remaining home games.
