Game Dates at Clemson and SMU Announced

Two of Syracuse's 2025 ACC game dates were set on Friday as part of the ACC's continued schedule roll out.
The Orange will face the two teams that met in the ACC title game this season early in league play and both on the road, opening the conference slate at Clemson on Sept. 20 and squaring off with SMU for the first time in program history on Oct. 4 in Dallas.
The two contests, coupled with opening the season in the Aflac Kickoff Game vs. Tennessee on Aug. 30 means that 'Cuse will face three of the 2024 College Football Playoff participants through the first week of October. Tickets for the Aflac Kickoff Game are now on sale through the Syracuse Box Office.
The full 2025 schedule will be announced at 9 p.m. Monday in a television special on ESPN2 and ACC Network. The 2025 opponents were previously announced, however the game dates and order will be announced on the show. Thursday saw each school's week one opponents unveiled and Friday was the conference openers.Â
The Orange are coming off a 10-win season in 2024, just the third this century, and finished the season ranked in every poll. Head Coach Fran Brown earned multiple national coaching honors for his success in year one with the program, winning the Steve Spurrier Award and Paul "Bear" Bryant Newcomer Coach of the Year.
