SYRACUSE, N.Y. – With less than a month to go until the 2025 men's lacrosse season, Syracuse University has announced its slate for the upcoming campaign.
The 2025 schedule features nine home games at the JMA Wireless Dome, four true road games and a neutral site showdown in one of the oldest series in college lacrosse.
Season tickets are on sale now at Cuse.com/tickets. Game times will be announced at a later date.
Syracuse, which went 12-6 overall last spring and reached the NCAA Tournament Quarterfinals, opens the 2025 season with three straight home games, taking on Jacksonville (Feb. 1), Vermont (Feb. 7) and last season's NCAA Tournament First Round opponent Towson (Feb. 10). The clash against Jacksonville marks the first-ever meeting between programs, with legendary Syracuse netminder John Galloway heading the Dolphins' program.
The Orange hit the road for a heavyweight battle at Maryland (Feb. 15) before a return to the JMA Wireless Dome to take on Harvard (Feb. 22), the first time the Orange and Crimson will meet since 2006.
Opening the month of March, Syracuse travels nearly across the country to face Utah (March 1) in the program's first-ever trip to Rice-Eccles Stadium. The Orange return home for another three straight home games, leading off with Johns Hopkins (March 9) in a battle of the winningest programs in men's lacrosse history.
Syracuse hosts back-to-back in-state foes Manhattan (March 18) and Colgate (March 22) before heading south to Virginia (March 29) to open Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) action against the Cavaliers.
Leading off April, the Orange welcome ACC opponent and back-to-back national champion Notre Dame (April 5) before trekking to Long Island to square up against longtime rival Cornell (April 12). Syracuse continues on the road for another ACC clash at Duke (April 19) before hosting North Carolina (April 26) for the regular season finale.
The ACC Tournament kicks off on May 2 with semifinal action at American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. The ACC crown is up for grabs on May 4 back at American Legion Memorial Stadium.
The Road to Foxborough begins May 10-11 with NCAA Tournament action at campus sites before the NCAA Tournament Quarterfinals May 17-18 in either Providence, Rhode Island or Annapolis, Maryland. Championship Weekend is slated with NCAA Tournament Semifinals on May 24 before the 2025 NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse Championship game on Monday, May 26. Championship Weekend will be hosted at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts for the first time since 2018.
