
Syracuse Blanked by No. 7 Quinnipiac

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse University women's ice hockey team fell to No. 7 Quinnipiac 3-0 Friday evening at Tennity Ice Pavilion.
Syracuse (2-3-0) had trouble finding the back of the net throughout the game. The Orange were 0-4 for power plays and gave up two of the three goals scored on Quinnipiac power plays. The team combined for a total of 13 blocks defensively on the evening.
Quinnipiac (5-0-0) put one up on the board in each period. Kahlen Lamarche collected two and Emerson Jarvis added one for the seventh-ranked Bobcats.

- The Bobcats struck on a power play at the 8:59 mark of the first period, with Lamarche scoring her first of the game. The goal was assisted by Aynsley D'Ottavio.
- Lamarche would then light the lamp 4:09 into the second period after passes from D'Ottavio and Laurence Frenette putting Quinnipiac up 2-0.
- 13:57 into the third, the puck would find Emerson Jarvis, tacking on another point for the Bobcats off assists from Peyton Cormier to Zoe Uens.
- Syracuse freshman goalie Ava Drabyk had 29 saves total in the net.
Behind the Numbers
- Four 'Cuse players had a multi-shot game. Maya D'arcy, Sami Gendron, and Heidi Knoll got three shots each.
- Syracuse was 35-19 in faceoffs with Nea Tervonen going 14-5 in the circle for the evening.
