Block S Club Mixer and Panel

On Thursday, Oct 16, we kicked off Orange Central Homecoming with the first-ever Block S Club Mixer and Panel. The mixer brought a lot of excitement, bringing in 50 student-athlete registrants from nearly all sports and 18 former athletes. The student-athletes loved the experience so much that the event lasted an hour longer than planned because they didn't want to leave!Â
We'd like to thank the alumni that participated in the breakout and networking sessions after the panel. You have left an unforgettable mark on these student-athletes and they have not stopped talking about it!
We'd like to give a special thank you to our exceptional panelists, Sharon Owens '85 (Track and Field), Dr. Melinda Reiner '84 (Women's Lacrosse), Brian Tarrant '96 (Football), Alison Murray '01 (Cheer), and Lazarus Sims '96 (Men's Basketball), and our panel host, Professor Rick Burton '79.
