Women's Rowing Begins Fall Season

The Syracuse University Women's Rowing team began its fall season on Sunday afternoon in Saratoga Springs, NY. The Orange sent eight pairs to the Tail of the Fish Invitational while the remaining squad hosted Colgate in a scrimmage on Onondaga Lake.

"Great first weekend of racing," Head Coach Luke McGee said. "We had a squad in Saratoga Springs and a squad back home. There was a lot of learning out there, especially these pairs, with two trips down the course against a good competitor. A chance to race in small boats is a great opportunity for our athletes to train for national team opportunities. We are looking forward to our next race which is at home on November 1st versus Cornell."
