The Orange close out the 136th season of Syracuse football on Saturday when they host longtime rival Boston College at 3 p.m. in the JMA Wireless Dome.
Â
Fans can purchase tickets to the game at Cuse.com/FootballTickets. The CW will televise Saturday's contest. Syracuse will celebrate Senior Day on Saturday and those playing in their final home game will be honored in a pregame ceremony.
Â
The Orange and Eagles will meet for the 59th time when they take the field on Saturday. Boston College ranks fifth on the list of Syracuse's most frequent opponents. 'Cuse has already faced two others on the list this season in Pittsburgh, its most frequent opponent with 81 meetings, and Colgate, which has faced the Orange 69 times.
Â
The Orange lead the all-time series, 34-24. The squads met every year from 1969-2004. Fourteen of those contests (1991-2004) were played while both schools were members of The BIG EAST Conference. The teams have split the 12 games played since the Orange joined the ACC in 2013.
Â
"We're excited to play Boston College," Syracuse head coach Fran Brown said. "It's a big game for both teams. It's a much-needed game for both organizations going into the offseason."
Â
In addition to celebrating Senior Day, Syracuse is hosting School Day and Scout Day at the JMA Dome on Saturday.
