11/27/2025 10:51:00 AM | Football
Syracuse hosts Boston College on Saturday, for the final game of the 2025 football season. Here's five things to know about the matchup:
1. Senior Sendoff
Be sure to arrive early this Saturday, to celebrate members of the Orange playing in their final home game. Members of this year's class who spent their entire careers at Syracuse helped lead the Orange to three bowl games, including a 10-win campaign last season.
2. Fan Information
Tickets are still available at Cuse.com/FootballTickets.
'Cuse on the Quad opens at 12 p.m., with the NYE Auto Quad walk to follow at approximately 12:40 p.m. – however fans will want to arrive before that to ensure their spot along the route and beat the team there. Each game will have a collectible NYE Auto Quad Walk game pin this season that will be distributed beginning at 12 p.m. in front of Hendricks Chapel. Be there early to get yours and try to complete this year's collection.
Can't make it to the Dome on Saturday? Be sure to tune into the broadcast at 3 p.m. on The CW. There are more ways than ever that fans can have a direct financial impact on Syracuse Athletics, one of which is by making sure you watch every game you can't attend. Television ratings now have an impact on revenue distribution in the ACC. Make sure you're always watching the Orange, whether from the Dome or at home, because Every 'Cuse Click Counts.
3. Rivalry Weekend
Boston College is one of Syracuse's five-most frequently played opponents, with Saturday's game being the 59th all-time meeting. The Orange lead the all-time series 34-24. The teams met every year from 1969-2004, with a brief hiatus in the series until 2013, when the teams reunited in the ACC.
4. Youth Movement
Syracuse has one of the nation's youngest teams, ranking third in the FBS and leading the Power 4 with 22 first-time starters throughout this season. Of the 97 players who have seen game action this season, 62-percent are underclassmen (sophomore or younger) and 41-percent are freshmen (29 true freshmen and 11 redshirt freshmen).
Those players have continued to play meaningful snaps down the stretch, which will add to Syracuse's experience next year. They'll be joined by what is currently ranked as the best recruiting class in Syracuse football history, which can officially sign starting on Dec. 3
5. Facing the Best
Nine of Syracuse's 11 FBS opponents this season are already bowl eligible – which is the second-highest total in the country this season. Wisconsin has faced 10 bowl eligible teams, while Duke and South Carolina have also played nine teams that have already surpassed the six-win threshold.
