Orange Visit #18 Miami Saturday

Syracuse goes on the road for its next two games starting Saturday at No. 18 Miami on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. on ESPN.
Â
Following this weekend's matchup against the Hurricanes, the Orange have only two regular-season games remaining – at Notre Dame on Nov. 22 and at home against Boston College on Nov. 29. Tickets for the regular-season finale against the Eagles are on sale now at Cuse.com/FootballTickets.
Â
Syracuse makes the trek to South Florida for the first time since 2017 for the program's 25th meeting with the Hurricanes. Miami leads the all-time series, 16-8. The Orange and Hurricanes have met just twice as members of the ACC, splitting the two contests, after they played every year from 1992-2003 when both were members of the BIG EAST.
Â
"Good opportunity we have this week," Syracuse head coach Fran Brown said. "Excited about the chance that we get to go down and play in Miami. It's a good atmosphere there, they've been doing a really good job for a long time, so happy they got their thing back rolling down there."
Â
The Orange snapped a six-game losing streak against the Hurricanes last season when they produced the largest comeback in program history in a 42-38 victory in the JMA Wireless Dome. The Orange, which trailed 21-0 in the second quarter, rallied and took their first lead of the game on a fumble return for a touchdown by Devin Grant. LeQuint Allen Jr. scored a touchdown with 9:16 remaining to put the game out of reach. Quarterback Kyle McCord was 26-of-36 for 380 yards and three touchdowns.
Â
This year's Miami squad is 6-2 overall and 2-2 in ACC action. The Hurricanes opened the 2025 campaign with five-straight wins, but have now lost two of their last three, including last Saturday's 26-20 overtime loss at SMU.
Â
A win for Syracuse (3-6, 1-5) would be its first against a ranked opponent this season and improve head coach Fran Brown's record to 5-3 against ranked opponents. It would also give the Orange back-to-back wins against Miami for the first time since 1997-98.
