Leo Earns Two National Weekly Honors

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – After pacing No. 2/2 Syracuse University men's lacrosse team to a 24-5 opening weekend win, junior midfielder Michael Leo was named ACC Offensive Player of the Week and was selected to the USILA Division I Team of the Week. The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) made its announcement Tuesday afternoon, as did the United States Intercollgiate Lacrosse Association (USILA).
Leo finished the first game of the year with four goals, all in the first half, including a natural hat trick in less than two minutes during the second quarter. Leo had a hand in nearly half of the Ornge goals in the 20 minutes of the game as Syracuse opened the scoring on a 10-0 run against visiting Jacksonville.
