
'Cuse Hosts First Round NCAA Tournament Matchup

INDIANAPOLIS – Syracuse University men's lacrosse has been selected to host a first-round game of the 2025 NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse Tournament.
After winning the ACC Tournament for the first time since 2016, No. 6 seed Syracuse (11-5) will face Harvard (10-4) on Sunday with a 5 p.m. opening faceoff at the JMA Wireless Dome.
Tickets for the first round game are available at Cuse.com/tickets. Prices are set t $17 for adults. Single game parking passes can be purchased for $20 presale or $25 day-of. Season-long parking passes will be honored.
The Orange, ranked as high as number two this season, return to the NCAA Tournament for a second straight season. Syracuse topped No. 9 Duke, the three seed in the ACC Tournament 9-8 on Sunday afternoon to earn its first ACC title since 2016. Jimmy McCool made 30 saves across the two tournament games, earning ACC Tournament Most Valuable Player honors.
Syracuse battled through the second-toughest schedule in Division I this season, finishing with an 11-5 record and three wins against teams ranked inside the top 10 of the final RPI. The Orange topped six teams ranked in the top 20 across the season as well, including wins over two other conference champions, Towson (CAA) and Colgate (Patriot League).
Harvard (10-4) took third in the Ivy League this season and has played five teams in the tournament field already this season. Harvard owns the regular-season matchup against the Orange this season, winning 15-14 on Feb. 22 in the Dome.
