Orange Ranked #12 In CRCA Poll

The Syracuse University women's rowing team slotted in at No. 12 in this week's CRCA Coaches poll, which was released on May 6.
Syracuse dropped one spot from last week's poll. The Orange closed out the regular season on April 26 against No. 4 Tennessee, No. 6 Princeton and No. 17 Ohio State at Lake Carnegie in Princeton. Syracuse has now raced against six teams currently ranked in the top 10 – No. 1 Stanford, No. 4 Tennessee, No. 5 Yale, No. 6 Princeton, No. 9 California and No. 10 Michigan.
Stanford maintained its spot atop the rankings for the second consecutive week with 2,992 points. Joining the Cardinal and Orange from the ACC is No. 9 Cal, No. 13 Virginia, No. 18 Duke, No. 23 Clemson and No. 25 North Carolina.
Syracuse will now set its sights on defending its maiden ACC title, with the ACC Championships scheduled for May 16-17 at Lake Hartwell in Clemson, S.C.
