SYRACUSE, N.Y. – With the first game of the 2026 season less than a week away, game themes for the Syracuse University men's lacrosse program have been announced.
The Orange, who finished 13-6 last season and won the ACC Men's Lacrosse Tournament en route to their first NCAA Championship Weekend appearance in over a decade, host seven regular season games at the JMA Wireless Dome this year, leading off on Sunday, February 1 with a 1 p.m. showdown against Boston University.
Season tickets, single-game tickets, and special ticket packages, in addition to season parking, are all available at Cuse.com/lacrosse-tickets.
Sunday's season opener against the Terriers will be an Orange Out. All fans in attendance are encouraged to wear their Orange gear to the home opener. The first 1,000 guests into the Dome on Sunday will receive an Orange rally towel.
On Saturday, February 7 Syracuse will host the Saint Joseph's University Hawks for Otto's Kids Club day and the annual laCROSSE Out Cancer game. Opening faceoff is set for noon.
Set for one of the biggest rivalries in college lacrosse, Syracuse hosts Maryland on Friday, February 13 for a 6 p.m. showdown. In addition to a doubleheader with a women's lacrosse game against North Carolina (2:30 p.m.) Syracuse and Maryland will each honor the 15 For Life Foundation, founded in honor of Syracuse All-American Rob Kavovit. 15 For Life's mission is to shed the shame around needing help and normalizing the conversation around mental health by creating awareness so that the loss of Rob Kavovit may help others. The Friday evening contest will also serve as Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day.
After a month on the road, Syracuse returns to the Dome to face longtime foe Georgetown on Sunday, March 22 for a 1 p.m. clash. The first meeting with Georgetown at the Dome since the 2012 season is earmarked for a second Otto's Kids Club game as well as Youth Day.
The following week Syracuse opens league play with a rematch of last season's ACC Championship game against the Blue Devils of Duke University. With a 2 p.m. start, Syracuse will host Military Appreciation Day with another doubleheader with the women's team, which hosts Pittsburgh (10 a.m.).
Saturday, April 11 will be Alumni Day at the Dome as the Orange welcome home previous Syracuse lacrosse players from across the years. Syracuse hosts another rivalry game against the University of Virginia with a 4 p.m. start, following a women's game against Notre Dame (noon).
On Saturday, April 18 Syracuse will host its Senior Day, celebrating a much heralded class that has helped push the Orange back to the forefront of college lacrosse and guide Syracuse back to Championship Weekend last spring. Game time against local foe Colgate is slated for 5 p.m.
