Destiny Robinson, a 6-foot forward from Queens, N.Y., has committed to Syracuse and will join Madison Howard as one of two freshmen for the Orange next season.
Â
"We are pleased to announce that Destiny Robinson will join our Orange family," Syracuse Head Coach Felisha Legette-Jack said. "She is a true winner! The player that you find under the rock in broad daylight, a state championship winner, played against the best players in our great state and won. She's gonna bring that pedigree to Syracuse. Please help me welcome Destiny to our family as we continue with our quest to pursue championships in the classroom and on the court with character."
Robinson comes to Syracuse after a standout career at St. Mary's College Prep in Manhasset, N.Y., where she helped the Gaels compete in the NSCHSAA. Before St. Mary's she played at Archbishop Molloy in Briarwood, N.Y.
Â
A three-time First Team NSCHSAA selection (2023-26), Robinson was also named NSCHSAA Player of the Year twice and earned Newsday All-Long Island honors twice during her high school career. She collected eight MVP awards throughout her prep career and served as a team captain her senior season.
Â
Robinson posted 450 points, 391 rebounds, 148 assists and 162 steals during her senior campaign, helping St. Mary's to a 22-3 record and the CHSAA New York State Division I Championship. She concluded her high school career with 1,430 points, 1,309 rebounds, 295 blocks, 443 steals, 556 offensive rebounds and 753 defensive rebounds.
Â
She played AAU for Castle Athletics for three years, helping her team to the Pro 16 PUMA National Championship in 2025.
