
SU Ice Hockey Alum DiGirolamo Wins PWHL Walter Cup with Montreal Victoire

Syracuse ice hockey alumna Jessica DiGirolamo was a member of the Montreal Victoire team that won the PWHL Walter Cup, taking down the Ottawa Charge, 4-0, at Canadian Tire Centre on Wednesday evening.

DiGirolamo logged her first career playoff point with an assist in the series-clinching victory. She appeared in nine games during the postseason. This is the first time the Victoire have won the Walter Cup. The defender produced three points during the regular season with one goal and two assists across 29 games.

DiGirolamo played for the Orange starting with the 2017-18 season before wrapping up her collegiate career following the 2021-22 campaign. She was a two-time captain at Syracuse and is the program's all-time leader in goals and points by a defender.
