2 Orange LBs Make Feldman's Freaks List

Two Syracuse linebackers were represented on Bruce Feldman's annual Freaks List, his annual list of 101 college football players, now at The Athletic, with freakish athleticism and/or weight room measurables.
Chris D'Appolonia checks in at No. 45 and Antoine Deslauriers ranks No. 52. They are the fourth and sixth-highest rated linebackers on the list.
D'Appolonia, a Toledo transfer, made Feldman's list for the second year in a row. At 6-foot-3, 240 lbs., D'Appolonia measures a 37-inch vertical and posted a top speed of 21.67 mph this spring at Syracuse. He also benched 375, squatted 565 and cleaned 325.
With the Rockets last season, he posted 68 tackles and 3.5 tackles for loss en route to earning All-MAC honors.
Deslauriers is coming off a Freshman All-American campaign with the Orange in 2025 after becoming the first true freshman in program history to lead the team in tackles. His bench press hit 390 pounds this offseason, squatted over 500, vertical leap of over 34 inches and hit 23 miles per hour on the GPS.
He had 60 tackles last season, 2.5 tackles for loss, a pair of pass breakups and two forced fumbles.
