The final week of traditional training camp – as classes start Monday at Syracuse University – is now in the books for the Syracuse football team. The Orange are now less than two weeks away from their Sept. 5 season opener against New Hampshire.

Monday, Aug. 17
The Orange returned to practice after an off day. 'Cuse had its first scrimmage of camp on Saturday, Aug. 15.
It started to feel like fall around the Syracuse campus as well, as students began moving in ahead of the semester. Students on the Mount were treated to a special visitor, as Coach Fran and Otto took time to meet with incoming freshmen and help with move in.
After practice, Head Coach Fran Brown and Defensive Backs Coach Perry Eliano spoke after practice to the media.
Tuesday, Aug. 18
Syracuse returned to full pads for Tuesday's practice.

Wednesday, Aug. 19
The Orange held a closed practice for faculty members in just helmets as they built towards their second scrimmage on Saturday.
Thursday, Aug. 20
ACC Network was in the building on Thursday, hosting the annual ACC Huddle Special Road Show live from practice. Head Coach Fran Brown, Director of Athletics Bryan Blair, Quarterback Steve Angeli and Cornerback Chris Peal all joined the set, plus in-practice miced up segments with Trevion Mack and Demetres Samuel Jr. filled out the show.

Friday, Aug. 21
The final practice before Saturday's scrimmage was another practice in just helmets.
Saturday, Aug. 22
The team hosted their second closed scrimmage of camp in the JMA Wireless Dome.
