Sophomore offensive lineman Byron Washington is on the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Watch List.
This award, honoring the legacy of Texas legend Earl Campbell, recognizes the nation's college offensive player of the year, who hails from the state of Texas.
Washington, a Texas native, was ranked in the top-10 of the FBS for snaps played among true freshman guards in the 2025 season. The incoming sophomore Saw 398 snaps last season, with 396 coming at right guard, allowed two sacks and zero quarterback hits on 226 pass blocking snaps according to Pro Football Focus.
