Men Climb Into Top-10

The Syracuse men's cross country team was ranked ninth in the USTFCCCA Division I National Poll, which was released on Tuesday.
The Orange women also received votes this week, in what was the first in-season poll.
The 'Cuse men are unbeaten to start the season, scoring the minimum 15 points through both its first two meets. They are one of the biggest movers in the poll, climbing four spots from their preseason ranking.
Wake Forest (No. 8) remains the highest-ranked ACC team, just one spot ahead of the Orange. Â
The women are also unbeaten to start the season, winning both the Harry Lang and Harry Groves Spiked Shoe Invitationals, adding a then top-10 victory over Penn State in the second meet of the year.
Both teams return to action on September 26 at the Medows Challenge, hosted by Princeton. The races are scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m.
