Syracuse's 39 points make the highest total allowed by the Eagles' defense this season. BC had averaged 12.3 points allowed per gam in the last four games.
Syracuse's 28 points at the half is the most by an Eagle opponent in 2001, and the most since allowing 35 to Virginia Tech on Sept. 30, 2000.
William Green's 156 yards rushing at the half is his highest halftime total this season.
Dedrick Dewalt's 122 yards receiving marks his highest yardage total this season. The game was his fourth 100+ receiving game of his career.
Dewalt's second touchdown reception of the game, a 15-yard catch in the fourth quarter, moved him into a second-place tie on the BC career TD reception list with Pete Mitchell at 20.
Brian St. Pierre's two touchdown passes today moved him into a second-place tie on the BC single-season TD pass list with Glenn Foley's 25 in 1993.
