Coach Boeheim Postgame Quotes
Syracuse vs. Seton Hall
January 8, 2002
Syracuse, NY- Carrier Dome
On the game:
"Offensively, we played as well as we've played all year long. We moved the ball and we were very unselfish. We shot the ball well. We rebounded well. There just wasn't anything we didn't do well. We did a good job in our defense. When we went to a man-to-man defense we were able to go on a little run. The Providence game helped show us that we can play man defense. That's going to help us. We had an exceptional game tonight. Everybody played well."
On the play of centers Craig Forth and Jeremy McNeil:
"Craig was good tonight. He really looked for his shot. We were struggling against their zone when we put him back in. He came up high, caught the ball, turned around and made a nice jump shot. He had a couple of good finishes down low. Jeremy played very well tonight. He has had two or three good games in a row and that is good for us."
On coaching against Louis Orr:
"I try to not think about who I am coaching against. Louis was one of the first guys that I recruited here at Syracuse. There is no better guy and no better player than we've ever had at Syracuse. When the game starts I'm worried about (Andre) Barrett and (Darius) Lane, I don't think about anything else."
