1980
Under first-year coach Mark Massey, Syracuse finishes with a 19-17-4 record and is selected to the New York State Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women's Volleyball Championships.
1981
The volleyball team amasses a record of 19-18-4.
1982
Syracuse (17-23) is seeded fifth in the inaugural BIG EAST Tournament and finishes with a 1-2 match record.
1983
In her first year as head coach, Kris Terrillion leads her team to a 12-24 overall record and ties for third place in the BIG EAST Tournament.
1984
Head coach Kris Terrillion is named BIG EAST Coach of the Year after leading her team to a 25-11 record and a third-place finish in the conference tournament.
1985
The 16-16 volleyball team places fourth in the nine-team BIG EAST Conference. Dani Loch is named BIG EAST Northern Division Player of the Year.
1986
In his first season on the hill, new head coach Dan Schulte amasses the toughest volleyball schedule in the program's history. The Orangewomen compile a record of 15-25, and Joanne Persico is named the BIG EAST Northern Division Player of the Year.
1987
Terri Hibner receives accolades for her work both on and off the court. She is named BIG EAST Northern Division Player of the Year and is a GTE/CoSIDA Regional Academic All-American.
1988
Coach Schulte is named BIG EAST Coach of the Year after his Orangewomen end the season with 29 wins and only 13 losses. Sherry Cowling earns AVCA Regional All-American honors.
1989
The volleyball team is paced by two-time AVCA Regional All-American Sherry Cowling on its way to a 28-9 record.
1990
The Orangewomen amass a record of 35-10, one of which is Coach Schulte's 100th coaching victory.
1991
The Orangewomen post a 21-11 record and place two players on both the All-BIG EAST Team and the BIG EAST All-Academic Team. Jessica Paarlberg is named to both teams.
1992
A disappointing 16-19 season puts an end to a streak of five-consecutive winning seasons for the Orangewomen.
1993
With a 13-21 season, the Orangewomen enter the BIG EAST Tournament as the sixth seed and lose in the first round.
1994
Jen Murphy receives All-BIG EAST Second-Team honors as a sophomore.
1995
Head Coach Jing Pu arrives, leading the team to a winning season of 17-16 and finishing seventh in the BIG EAST.
1996
Syracuse records a 26-11 mark and advances to the BIG EAST Tournament semifinals. Pu receives BIG EAST Coach of the Year honors.
1997
The Orangewomen retain a 24-12 record and their second -straight BIG EAST Tournament appearance. At the end of the season, the team ranks 17th nationally in blocks per game.
1998
Rachel Watson records the sixth-highest three-game dig total in NCAA history while Anastasia Rehas sets a BIG EAST record for total blocks in a match. Keri Potts is named to the GTE Academic All-America First Team.
1999
The Orangewomen finish the season with a 19-13 record and earn a trip to the BIG EAST Tournament for the third time in four years. Rachel Watson and Jen Crownover break single-season BIG EAST records in digs and blocks, respectively. Watson snaps the school's career digs and digs per game mark. Dana Fiume is named All-BIG EAST Second Team, and Crownover earns a spot on the All-Rookie Team.
2000
The Orangewomen finish the season with a 24-10 overall record and a 6-5 conference mark, both are Syracuse's highest season-and conference-win totals in four seasons. Dana Fiume sets nine SU records and earns an All-BIG EAST selection. Noreen Carroll breaks the career assists mark at Syracuse in only her junior campaign.
2001
Syracuse finished with a 14-13 overall record and 3-9 in the BIG EAST play. It was Syracuse's eighth-straight winning season.
2002
The volleyball team completed another winning season with a 19-12 record and went 5-8 in the BIG EAST.
2003
With a 17-16 overall record and a 4-8 BIG EAST record. It was SU's 10th-straight winning season.
2004
The Orange qualified for the BIG EAST Tournament for the first time since 1999. Head coach Jing Pu was named BIG EAST Coach of the Year. Aila Dommestrup set a school record of 11.62 assists per game. Kelly Duan became the first volleyball player in Syracuse history to receive All-American Honors. Finished the season with a 25-7 record and 8-2 in the BIG EAST.
2005
Syracuse qualified for the BIG EAST Tournament and won its first postseason game since 1999. The team set a school record with 11 conference game wins. Kelly Duan received All-American honors for the second-straight season and set a school record with 537 kills in a single season. Aila Dommestrup topped her 2004 record with 11.89 assists per game. The Orange completed its season with a 25-10 record and 11-3 in the BIG EAST.
2006
The Orange finished the regular season with an 11-25 record and ended its two-year run in the BIG EAST Tournament. Syracuse rebounded from an 11-match losing streak by winning seven of the next nine contests, including a dramatic 3-2 victory against Pittsburgh. Junior Joscie Kaup became the program's ninth player all-time to tally 1,000 career digs.
2007
Syracuse returned to the BIG EAST Tournament for the first time since the 2005 season after posting an 8-6 mark in conference play. Seniors Joscie Kaup and Cheryl Cobbina earned second-team All-BIG EAST recognition. Kaup became the program's all-time leader in career digs. Sophomore Sarah Morton set the Orange single-season record for solo blocks with 72. The Orange collected 20 wins for the seventh time under head coach Jing Pu.
