Josh Ruhle was an All-American captain for the Orange in his senior year. He was third on the team in recovered groundballs (58) and played in the All-Star game with teammate Matt Cutia.
Senior Year (1999): One of four team captains…received All-American honorable mention…started and played in all 17 games…took one shot and recovered 58 groundballs, third highest on the team...played for the North in the North/South Collegiate All-Star game.
Junior Year (1998): played in all 14 games, started 11…took one shot and collected 38 groundballs.
Sophomore Year (1997): Started in all 14 games on close defense…took one shot and collected 35 groundballs.
Freshman Year (1996): Started four games…collected three groundballs.
High School: Two-year lacrosse letterwinner at both Perkiomen and Lawrenceville.
Personal: Son of John and Jan Ruhle…born October 13, 1976 in Allentwon, Pa….one older sister…father attended Syracuse in the late 60’s and early 70’s and grandfather, John Sr., played football at LSU and SMU in the late 30’s…majored in mechanical engineering.
