Drew Harrison
At SU: Harrison started his rowing career at SU in 1968 ... He earned three varsity letters under Coach Bill Sanford ... He became the SU freshmen coach soon after his graduation and enjoyed a great deal of success ... His crew won three concecutive I.R.A. championships from 1976-78 ... The last two of these crews also raced at the Royal Henley Regatta
International Competition: While he was still coaching at SU, Harrison began coaching at the international level ... He started as the Lightweight coach for the U.S. National Team in 1977 and again in 1981 ... Then he became the Canadian Team coach and went to the 1984 and 1988 Olympic Games ... Harrison then joined the Japnanese National Team and traveled to the 1992 and 1996 Olympic Games.
