2001: Had a solid junior year...played on SU's first midfield line the entire season...finished the season strong with 13 points in SU's last four games, including two goals and two assists in the national championship game against Princeton...tallied one goal against Notre Dame in the semifinals...had one goal and one assist in the quarterfinal victory against Hofstra...recorded a career-high six points at Georgetown on May 5 (four goals, two assists)...finished tied for fifth on the team in scoring with linemate Brian Solliday...registered 28 points on 18 goals and 10 assists...one of three players on the team to have scored four goals in a game during the season...netted three goals against Virginia and two goals and an assist at Loyola on April 7.
2000: Played in 15 games and made one start...took 13 shots and scored four goals...collected six groundballs...his goals came against Yale, Hobart, Brown and Pennsylvania.
1999: Played in three games...took two shots...had two groundballs.
High School: Attended Junipero Serra High School...All-American as a senior...three-year letterwinner...team captain and MVP as a senior...California MVP in 1998.
Personal: Son of Robert and Christie Wright...one brother and one sister...born December 20, 1979 in San Diego, CA...majored in speech communication...honored at the San Diego Hall of Champions' 56th annual "Salute to the Champions" dinner along with fellow amateur athlete Mark Prior and Breitbard Hall of Fame inductees Tony Gwynn of the San Diego Padres, skateboarder Tony Hawk and standout offensive lineman for the San Diego Chargers, Russ Washington.
