Matt Doyle was an All-American attackman for the Orange. In his senior year, he tied for sixth-leading goal scorer on the team.
Senior Year (1997): Played in all 14 games … scored 10 goals and had eight assists on the season … scooped up 13 ground balls … netted a season-high four goals against Yale … had an assist in the NCAA semifinal game against Maryland.
Junior Year (1996): Fifth-leading scorer … played in all 15 games, starting seven … had 18 goals, including three against Virginia, Hopkins and Penn.
Missed the entire 1995 season because of knee injury.
Sophomore Year (1994): Fourth on team in scoring with 31 goals and 11 assists … second-team All-American … had four goals and three assists in the win over Hobart and four goals in the loss at Hopkins … scored three or more goals in six games … had three or more goals in four of the first five games of the season.
Freshman Year (1993): Had a goal and three assists in the win at Hobart … had two or more points in the four games that he scored.
High School: Three-sport star, lettering in lacrosse, football and basketball at Elmont High School … scored 302 career points on 123 goals and 170 assists … team captain as a senior.
