SU Football Tickets: Frequently Asked Questions
When will I receive my renewal package?
The renewal package is with our printer, and it should be mailed out in about a week.
What is the season ticket price for the 2009 Football season?
As you will see, we have made many significant changes to the season ticket pricing for Football. We have provided an expanded number of ticket plans that we hope accomplish the objective of creating a variety of options for the community at an affordable price. Each plan will offer benefits related to the type of plan, its related price and location in the Dome. The highlights of the variety of season ticket plans include;
o $100 – “Touchdown Town” End zone Seating: Expanded by 2,300 in 2009.
o $115 – Student seating: Price remains same as 2008.
o $150 – 300 level corner seating: 7,400 seats created for 2009.
o $205 – 100 and 200 level End zone seating: Price remains same as 2008.
o $230 – Sideline non-preferred seating: Increase of $25 with 2 more games vs. 2008 (8 vs. 6)
o Premium seating: Varying increases based upon location. Increase in donation is tax deductible and is counted toward Orange Club benefits and points.
What is the season ticket price for the 2009-10 Men’s Basketball season?
Men’s Basketball Season tickets in non-preferred areas will increase by $1 per game to $400. The season ticket price in preferred areas will remain at $380, while increases in preferred areas will vary based upon location. Increases in donations are tax deductible and is counted towards Orange Club benefits and points.
Why is the deadline so soon after the renewal is received?
We were aiming to keep the deadlines at two month intervals, but because of the volume of information contained in each package, they took longer to create than anticipated and we were not able to mail them until now.
Why are you changing the B level to A level for basketball?
The areas that will change are the very best seats in the Dome and as such, we feel they are worthy of the price change. Also, we have provided a 2-year transitional pricing model to help with the change.
How do I request an upgrade for my seats or parking?
There will be an area provided to state your requests for upgrades or additional seats on your renewal form(s), as well as on your MyCuse Account (when renewing online).
When I donate at the appropriate giving level to have access to purchasing preferred parking, how will my parking lot be assigned?
We will fill the lots according to level of giving as indicated on the benefit list. Once a lot fills, we move to what we consider to be the next best lot. If you have specific preference, please indicate that at the time of your request/purchase.
The last time the preferred locations were changed, I was grandfathered in at my original level and told that that would not change as long as I held the same seats. Is that still the case?
We will review each situation on a case-by-case basis.
As an existing preferred seating patron, will I get first choice of seats if I decide to move to a non-preferred area?
The loyalty of our patrons is important to us and we will make every effort to give you the best available location should you decide to move your seats.
If I can’t afford my seat this year due to the economy, will it be held for me to buy next year?
We will not be able to hold your exact seat location(s), but will give consideration to your past season ticket purchases, when you are able to purchase season tickets again.
I previously purchased seats in the third level end zone for $100. Now that you are expanding that area to include the lower rows, do I get first chance at the lower rows?
Simply request a lower row as you process your payment and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Much of the lower rows were already filled with season ticket holders, which is why we started at row K when the Touchdown Town was introduced. We have now extended the lower price to include those patrons.
Why have the youth season tickets that I bought in the past been changed to adult rate on the renewal?
Unfortunately, we have had some season ticket holders taking advantage of this discounted ticket price. If your children still meet the age requirements for the 2009-10 season, simply contact the Box Office at 888-366-3849 and your account will be modified.
When will the complete 2009 Football schedule be released?
While the non-conference schedule is set, the dates for all BIG EAST Conference games have yet to be announced by the league office but are anticipated later this month. If you keep your email address current on your MyCuse account, we will be able to email the schedule, when available, as well as other valuable information throughout the season.
When will individual game tickets go on sale, will I get a chance at an advance sale and what are the prices?
Individual game tickets for football will go on sale to the general public on August 5, 2009. Basketball tickets will go on sale in the fall. Our season ticket holders will be given an advance opportunity to purchase additional tickets, and will be notified via email. Our individual ticket prices are not yet set for either sport.
Why can’t I park in the Stadium West lots when I see spots open on game day?
Some of the spots in each lot much be made available to students and faculty for academic needs on game day. The Stadium West lot parking passes are sold on a season basis only.
How do I purchase disabled parking?

New locations are assigned depending on availability and require a letter from your doctor as well as a copy of your state issued handicap tag.
