New York's College Team Award
NEW YORK'S COLLEGE TEAM AWARD
The New York’s College Team Award will be presented to a team of teachers within NY State that are nominated either by a student, class or fellow co-worker. The teacher will have to meet the following criteria:
· Is a leader in both the classroom and an extra-circular activity within their school or related to the school (boy scouts, girl scouts, pop warner, etc)
· Has a positive impact/influence on their students both within the classroom and out
· Dedicates free time to helping further students with their life skills
· Leads by example through their teaching, their attitude and their commitment to their job and community
All nominations should be submitted via email to teamsu@syr.edu or via a letter to the SU Marketing Department, 1301 East Colvin St, Syracuse, NY 13244 through standard mail explaining why the person being nominated meets the criteria above for the New York’s College Team Award.
The deadline for all nominations is Tuesday, November 16. The winners will be notified on Wednesday, November 17. The winners will be recognized during the SU vs. Connecticut game on November 20th. Each winner will receive two (2) free tickets to the game.
