Dear Battle on the Midway Travel Patrons:
Due to circumstances beyond our control, the exclusive Battle on the Midway basketball game has been postponed to Sunday November 11, 2012 with a 1 PT tip off. The reason for the re-scheduling is due to a high probability of rain and wind during the original time. "We remain committed to this once-in-a-lifetime experience for our student-athletes and our fans." said Syracuse Director of Athletics Dr. Daryl Gross. "We are very sorry for the inconvenience this change may have caused our fans. The weather predictions have forced the postponement." Although plans to move the game indoors had previously been communicated, the organizers and both institutions felt it was essential to keep the location on the USS Midway to maintain this once-in-a-lifetime experience for our loyal fans and our student-athletes. Because of this change, we understand there may be some who can no longer attend the game. Please call 888.DOMETIX (press 0) with any questions.
