Pro Bowl Selections
Twenty-four Syracuse football alums have been selected to the Pro Bowl a combined 91 times. Those totals include Larry Csonka (1972, 1973), Jim Nance (1966), Marvin Harrison (2006), Dwight Freeney (2010) and Chandler Jones (2015) who were selected, but did not play in the annual all-star game. They also include Donovan McNabb's three selections as an injury replacement for the NFC.
Pro Football Hall of Famers Jim Brown and Jim Ringo were the Orange's first Pro Bowl participants following the 1957 season. Brown was named to the Pro Bowl after each of his nine professional seasons (1957-65). Ringo's 10 selections are the most of any Orange alum.Â
