Stadium Gameday and Event Policies - Syracuse University Athletics

Following a comprehensive review of current public health conditions on campus and around Central New York and as Syracuse University continues to move from pandemic response to endemic management, the University has issued the revised public health protocols for events and athletic competitions hosted by the University at the Stadium.

Attendees are no longer required to demonstrate proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test prior to entry to the Stadium.
Individuals experiencing COVID-like symptoms should avoid attending events at the Stadium.

The University continues to assess public health conditions and will issue revised guidance should that become necessary. Please continue to visit syracuse.edu/staysafe for the most up-to-date public health information.

Public health protocols for external events hosted at the stadium will be determined by the promoter of each event and are subject to change. Be sure to visit the event website to ensure compliance with all public health protocols.

Testing Requirements

Mask Requirements
Individuals are not required to wear a mask in the Stadium.

Safety Precautions

Do not attempt to enter the stadium if you have any COVID-19 symptoms.
For safety and security, the stadium will enforce a Clear Bag Policy. Each fan is allowed one clear bag one small clutch or purse. Fans will be asked to return non-approved bags to their vehicle prior to stadium entry. Please visit the stadium entry/clear bag page for additional information.
Stadium staff will not accept or provide a holding area for prohibited items. Please visit the Stadium Guest Services page for more information on prohibited items.
Hand sanitizer stations are available on the concourse levels.
Dedicated sanitizing staff are assigned to monitor and treat frequently touched surfaces.

Food & Beverage

For safety and efficiency, Syracuse University has transitioned to cashless transactions at food, beverage and merchandise stands. Major credit cards, debit cards and mobile payment (Apple Pay, Android Pay and Google Wallet) are accepted.
ATM’s are not available at the stadium.
Guests are permitted to bring a sealed bottle of water; all other outside food and beverage is prohibited. Exceptions will be made for health/special conditions.

Tailgating

Tailgating is permitted within the lined parking space directly behind or in front of your parked vehicle; other parking spaces cannot be used for tailgating or other purposes.
Safety regulations prohibit any open flame (from propane, charcoal, etc.) in Syracuse University parking garages, and will be strictly enforced for all levels of the garages.
Syracuse University prohibits excessive consumption of alcohol on its property. Patrons determined to be impaired may be denied entry into the JMA Wireless Dome.
Smoking and tobacco use is prohibited on Syracuse University property, which includes both inside and outside the stadium, parking lots and garages.
