Gino Gigliotti was promoted to Director of Recruiting in March of 2022. He joined the Orange recruiting staff in 2019 and was promoted to recruiting quality control assistant in March 2020, before assuming his current role this season.
Gigliotti leads in the program’s initiatives to attract the best possible student-athletes to Syracuse University.
Gigliotti’s previous experience includes a two-year stint at Coastal Carolina. He was hired as a recruiting and video technology intern for Chanticleers in 2017 and spent the 2018 season as a recruiting analyst. Gigliotti’s duties included organizing recruiting schedules for coaches, watching and evaluating game film, assisting with official visits and helping maintain Coastal Carolina’s recruiting board.
In addition to his work with the Chanticleers, Gigliotti was a manager and defensive quality control coach for SUNY Cortland in 2016. He analyzed practice and game film, signaled in defensive plays from the sideline during games, and led the film distribution to Red Dragon players and coaches.
A Cortland graduate, Gigliotti holds a bachelor’s degree in sport management.
