High School: 2010 First Team All-Tidewater and All-Southeastern District selection … Two-year starter at defensive back … Also played running back and returned kicks … Started 29 consecutive games … As a senior, recorded 36 tackles, eight pass breakups and four interceptions and rushed for 500 yards and 11 touchdowns … Led the team to three-straight state semifinal appearances … As a senior, led the team to an 11-2 record and the ninth spot in the state rankings … In his junior season, helped the team to a seventh-place state finish and a 13-1 record … As a sophomore, helped the Tigers to an undefeated 15-0 record and a Division 6 state championship and the 32nd spot in the national rankings … High School Coach: Richard Morgan.
