Josh Hockenberry '18 returned to the Orange rowing program as a volunteer assistant coach prior to the 2022-23 season.
Hockenberry, an Orange Oarsman from 2014-18 and was a member of the varsity eight that placed eighth at the Eastern Springs in 2017 and eighth at the IRA Championship.Â
A native of Pittsburgh, Pa., Hockenberry rowed as a member of the U.S. Junior High Performance Team and took second place at the U.S. Junior Nationals before his Syracuse career. Hockenberry began his Orange tenure as a member of the 2V8+ that placed 14th at the IRA National Championship in 2014.Â
