Alisa Goler served on the Syracuse softball coaching staff for three seasons (2016-18).

Goler helped coach USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Top-10 Finalist Sydney O'Hara to a historic season. O'Hara boasted a .476 batting average, .626 on-base percentage and .833 slugging percentage to set new single-season Orange records and lead the nation in batting average and on-base percentage, as well as saves from the pitcher's circle (6). She earned Syracuse softball's first espnW National Player of the Week after hitting four home runs in a single game at NC State to tie an NCAA record and become 1-of-5 to accomplish the feat. As a whole, the Orange broke single-season records in team batting average (.307), hits (433) and on-base percentage (.388).
A three-time All-American, Alisa Goler joined the Orange in August 2015 after serving at the hitting coach at Roosevelt University in 2014-15. She set University of Georgia records for home runs (58), runs batted in (236), walks (184), slugging percentage (.686), games with multiple home runs (9), and grand slams (4). Her 184 walks also set the SEC record and ranked seventh nationally. She set single-season SEC records for slugging percentage and RBIs. A four-time All-Southeast Region selection and three-time All-SEC honoree, Goler was a 2009 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year finalist and was named to the 2009 Women’s College World Series All-Tournament team. The Bulldogs also advanced to the Women’s College World Series in 2010.
Â
After wrapping up a highly decorated career at Georgia, Goler was drafted by the NPF’s Chicago Bandits in 2011, where she earned league Rookie of the Year honors and was an All-NPF selection. She played four seasons with the Bandits until signing a free agent contract with the Pennsylvania Rebellion in 2015.
Â
Off the field, Goler excelled in the classroom and in the community. She earned Capital One Academic All-District III First Team honors and was a four-time SEC Academic Honor Roll selection. In 2011, she earned honors on the Lowe’s Senior Class All-America Team and the SEC Community Service Team. Goler earned her bachelor’s degree in recreation and leisure studies from the University of Georgia in December of 2010 and earned her master’s degree in recreation and leisure studies from the University of Georgia in 2012.
