Dwight Freeney
Defensive End
On recovering from injuries during his career and having such a big game against BYU:
"Going through all that I have gone through during the last two years, it felt good to go out there and be healthy and play the way I know I can play."
On the SU pass rush vs. Pittsburgh:
"We'll have all of our four starters back and we should be out there at full strength. We'll be going after the quarterback like we are used to."
On the play of the defensive line:
"We can definitely improve. We haven't had our best game yet. There are a lot of things we can work on. We have to work on our pass rushing lanes and keeping the blockers' hands off of us."
Quentin Harris
Free Safety
On the first-half lead vs. BYU:
"First, I'd like to thank Dwight Freeney because he made our job in the secondary a lot easier. I think it is a wonderful thing to get up early and then dictate what BYU had to do, which was throw the ball. It was something special that we needed to do because people were beginning to question what we can do, so it gave us a little bit of redemption."
On preparing for Pittsburgh:
"We will prepare the same way we do every week. Pittsburgh has a great set of wide receivers and we have some great defensive backs. We'll just prepare hard like we have the past couple weeks."
On his focus going into the Pittsburgh game:
"They are a good team, and we have a great defense. I'm focused on Syracuse, because we have beaten ourselves. If we take care of our business everything else will take care of itself."
