8/30/2000 1:55:26 PM | Football
Syracuse radio stations WAQX-FM (95.7) and WNSS-AM (1260) remain the flagship stations for the network, consisting of 23 stations. SU game broadcasts go on the air in Syracuse two hours before kickoff with the pre-game show hosted by Mike Schopp. Network stations join the coverage, featuring Voice of the Orange Dave Pasch and color analyst Dave Hammond, one hour before kickoff.
The post-game show, featuring live interviews with Coach Paul Pasqualoni and SU players, and highlights, airs after each contest. Mike Schopp continues the post-game lineup with a one-hour call-in show. He will take calls from the Carrier Dome after each home game and Carter Blackburn will host the show from Tully's Good Times Restaurant on Erie Boulevard in Syracuse when the Orangemen are on the road. Fans should dial 877-600-6431 to talk SU football.
Additionally, the second season of "Inside SU Football with Paul Pasqualoni" debuts on the network Thursday, August 31. The show will air from 8 to 9 p.m. on Thursdays throughout the season, with the exception of the week of November 25. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the show will air on Tuesday, November 21. The show will be hosted by Dave Pasch and includes interviews with SU players and coaches and calls from SU fans. The toll-free number is 877-600-6431.
The SU Sports Radio Network will also broadcast "Orange Slices," a daily segment airing twice daily between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Beginning August 28 and continuing through May, 2001, Dave Pasch will provide listeners on the network with a three-minute feature on Syracuse Athletics.
In addition to the radio stations on the network, fans can tune into game broadcasts, Coach Pasqualoni's show and "Orange Slices" on the World Wide Web. Direct your web browser to www.suathletics.com and click on the link to listen live on the Internet.
