A very physical game was marked by a combined 28 fouls, 20 by the Irish, and three yellow cards, including two cautions for Syracuse.
Forwards Guido Cristofori (Fairport, NY) and Kirk Johnson (Chester Springs, PA) had most of SU's scoring chances with a combined 11 shots.
