Syracuse won its only dual match of the spring, defeating Colgate, 6-1, on January 31. The Orangewomen competed at the Cornell Winter Tennis Classic Feb. 2-4. At the tournament, sophomore Masha Kabanova (Moscow, Russia) and the doubles pairing of Michelle Neveklovska (West Vancouver, British Columbia) and Zuzanna Borucka (Gdansk, Poland) won their respective flights. Kabanova, who was the number one seed in Flight B, won three matches en route to the title. Kabanova has the most singles wins this season with 12 and is third on the team with a 20-8 record. Additionally, freshman Jessica Schlosser (Syracuse, NY) posted a second-place finish in the Flight D bracket.
