Orange Tennis Loses to Nationally-Ranked Minnesota 8-1

Kabanova and Saedinia posted a 9-7 victory against Tammy Wang and Jennifer Howard at the second doubles slot. Saedinia played Wang in singles action, losing 4-6, 6-1, 6-0, at the number four slot. Kabanova also lost her singles match, 7-6, 6-0, to Michaela Havelkova at number three. Freshman Zani Suttle had her four-match winning streak snapped in sixth singles action, losing to Brandi Watts, 6-1, 6-3.
The Orangewomen (3-5) head to California for a pair of dual matches next week. Syracuse faces the University of California at Santa Barbara on March 15 at 5 p.m. (EST). SU plays Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo on March 16 at 4 p.m. (EST).
