Filipovic and Vucetic To Compete at the 2001 NCAA Men's Swimming Championships

Filipovic, who was the only male swimmer to win three individual events at the BIG EAST Championships in February, will compete in the 200 individual medley, the 100 butterfly and the 200 butterfly at NCAAs. The 200 IM will be first with preliminary races starting at 12 p.m. CT, on Thursday, March 22. The finals will be held at 7 p.m. CT each night.
On Friday, March 23, Filipovic will swim in the 100 butterfly, while Vucetic, a three-time BIG EAST backstroke champion, will compete in his first race, the 100 backstroke. Preliminaries and finals are at the same time all three days.
The final day features Filipovic in the 200 butterfly and Vucetic in the 200 backstroke. Results of the 2001 NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships will be available at www.ncaachampionships.com/swim/mswim/.
