Record Set to Participate in WNBA Pre-Draft Camp

Syracuse University senior Beth Record (Shortsville, NY) will participate in the WNBA’s Pre-Draft Camp this weekend in Chicago. Representatives from the 16 WNBA teams will be present in preparation for the draft on April 20.

Record led Syracuse in scoring and rebounding this season, averaging 14.0 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. The two-time All-BIG EAST third-team selection finished her career ranked fifth on SU’s all-time scoring list with 1,285 points. She also pulled down 545 rebounds in her career which ranks 12th on Syracuse’s career leader list.

A total of 64 players will be selected in the WNBA draft. The WNBA draft will be broadcast live by ESPN2, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
