
Track & Field Competes at Penn Relays

Bitok qualified for next week's BIG EAST Outdoor Championship in his final attempt in the 5,000-meter run. Bitok finished 34th in a season-best time of 15:03.02.
Carusone finished in a fourth-place tie in the Eastern section of the pole vault, clearing 15'9". It was his best mark of the season.
Bedard competed in the shot put, finishing 14th with a throw of 49'10", while Adrian finished 18th in the Eastern section of the shot put with a mark of 48'7.25". Adrian also finished fifth in the discus with a throw of 167'8".
All four student-athletes, and several others that did not compete at Penn, are qualified for the BIG EAST Outdoor Championship on May 4-6 at Rutgers. Adrian is currently ranked second in the conference in both the shot put and the discus.
