SYRACUSE, NY -- The NCAA announced its 2001 Women’s Lacrosse Championship field Sunday night. Syracuse won its last five games to finish 9-4 and earned its second-straight trip to the tournament. As the No. 11 seed, SU will play at No. 6-seeded North Carolina at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 10. The winner of that game will meet the winner of No. 3 Georgetown vs. No. 14 Hofstra.
