SU X-C Teams Compete at GW Invitational

Freshman Tim Scarpinato (Croghan, N.Y./Beaver River) paced the Orangemen with an eighth-place finish with a time of 26:03. Classmate Brian McNeil (Franklin, Mass./St. John's) finished 30th with a time of 26:46.
The Orangewomen were led by freshman Leah Folmsbee's (Ballston Spa, N.Y./Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) eighth-place time of 18:39. Junior Aleccia Boland (London, Ont./Banting) finished 16th with a time of 18:59 and classmate Zelma Jackson (Aurora, Colo./A. Phillip Randolph/Barton County CC) finished 27th with 19:16.
Both men's and women's teams will be in action next Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Paul Short Invitational in Bethlehem, Pa.
